Comfort Zone
Inform and inspire on a difficult topic

The mission here was to make a complex and politicized issue accessible.

Situation and approach

My co-producers and I saw that conversation around the issue of the issue of climate change was stagnating. We wanted to make it fresh and approachable. Our approach was to bring the issue literally to people’s backyards, and to make the story very personal.

This excerpt focuses on the forecasts for agriculture and the natural world.

Audience and setting

The documentary was aimed at the general public, independent of preconceived opinions on climate change. COMFORT ZONE was screened at film festivals across the country and at multiple locations across the Rochester region.
